vivo has launched its latest V series in the Philippines, comprising the vivo V27 5G and vivo V27e. The lineup brings the company’s Aura Portrait flash system to the local market and an improved Photochromic 2.0 finish that’s now more sensitive to light and can change color faster than the previous generation.
(Update, March 28: Our camera review of the vivo V27 5G is up!)
Dubbed “The Aura Portrait Master,” the vivo V27 series packs some notable camera features, including a built-in ring light on the rear with three bright LED lights to illuminate your low-light shots.
In the Philippines, the vivo V27e with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage officially costs P16,999 (around $312 converted). Preorders for the unit run from March 22 to March 29 exclusively on the brand’s E-store. The higher-specced vivo V27 5G, on the other hand, is priced at P24,999 ($459) for the lone 12GB/256GB variant. It will be available for pre-purchase from April 10 to April 16.
As a preorder offer, each purchase of a V27 series phone entitles customers to a free TWS Bluetooth headset or a vivo VIP card until supplies last.

The vivo V27 5G upgrades to a curved AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate in a relatively slim and ergonomic body available in green and black colors locally. It’s also the first V series phone that uses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V image sensor. Meanwhile, the vivo V27e comes with a 64-megapixel primary sensor coupled with optical image stabilization.
For selfies and vlogs, the V27 5G and V27e are equipped with sharp 50- and 32-megapixel front cameras, respectively. They also ship with several photo and video templates to make it as easy and as accessible as possible to get into vlogging or making video content.
Underneath the hood, the vivo V27 5G is equipped with the latest 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G chipset to deliver smooth daily performance, alongside up to 20GB of dynamic RAM. The new chip promises up to 22% faster CPU performance and 43% higher GPU performance compared to the previous generation, while offering excellent efficiency even when gaming and handling multiple apps.
As for the vivo V27e, the smartphone uses the 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 4G processor, the same silicon inside the OPPO Reno8 T and the 4G version of the Realme 10.
