A Spark is about to let you “glow as you are” — or so Tecno Mobile Philippines says.

The Transsion Holdings brand has announced that the Tecno Spark 10 Pro is scheduled to be available in the Philippines on March 31, coincidentally when reports of an upcoming Tecno Spark 10 Pro 5G launch have surfaced. And it has actually revealed the regular and discounted prices ahead of the local release.

Apparently, the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will sell for P7,699 (around $142). The variant with double the storage, on the other hand, will retail at P8,299 ($153). However, if you buy any one of them from the launch date until April 8, you can get the base model for only P6,899 ($127) and the unit with 256GB storage for just P7,499 ($138). Just use the “P800 ($15) off” voucher on Lazada or Shopee.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro created a buzz when it debuted early this month, partly because its rear design is quite similar to that of more recent Apple iPhones. It’s just that here, the squircle camera island doesn’t protrude.

The real highlight for Tecno here, though, is the 32-megapixel selfie camera — what it dubs the “32-megapixel ultra-clear glowing selfie camera” — hence, the “glow as you are” tagline. Other Tecno Spark 10 Pro features that the company harps on are the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, the RAM that can be extended virtually up to 16GB, and the glass back panel that’s usually reserved for more premium smartphones.
