Vivo is on a roll. After unveiling the Y35, it has launched the V25 series with the announcement of the Vivo V25 Pro for the Indian market. The company also quietly unveiled the standard Vivo V25, which we understand is coming to Thailand August 25.

(Update, September 22: The Vivo V25 Pro, Vivo V25, and Vivo V23e have been launched in the Philippines!)

In India, the Sailing Blue and Pure Black Vivo V25 Pro with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage is now available for preorder with a suggested retail price of ₹35,999 (around P25,421 or $454 converted). The top-end 12GB/256GB variant retails at ₹39,999 (P28,121 or $504).

Pricing and availability details for the regular V25 will be announced at a later date, but the smartphone should come in three colors — Aquamarine Blue, Sunrise Gold, and Diamond Black. All use the same flourite AG glass found on the back of the V23 5G.

The Vivo V25 Pro debuts the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 5G chipset on a global model (the Vivo T2x packs a similar MediaTek spec, but appears to be limited to the Chinese market). The Dimensity 1300 5G is the same chipset that powers the OPPO Reno8 5G, which is set to launch in the Philippines on September 1.

Other notable specs include a 6.56-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate; a 64-megapixel primary camera; a 32-megapixel selfie cam with eye autofocus; and a 4,800mAh battery that supports 66-watt fast charging.

As for the V25, the non-Pro edition is built around a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G chip with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The inclusion of a Dimensity 900 processor is surprising — and quite a disappointment — considering the previous-gen V23 was powered by a faster Dimensity 920 SoC.

It still comes with a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The main cameras on the rear and front stay the same, offering 64 and 50 megapixels, respectively. The battery is slightly bigger this time around, though, coming in at 4,500mAh. Similar to its predecessor, the Vivo V25 allows for 44-watt fast charging over USB-C.

The Vivo V23 5G arrived in the Philippines with a P27,999 ($501) price tag when it hit stores back in February. The V23 Pro 5G, on the other hand, didn’t get a local release here.
