Samsung‘s newest devices are here. The Korean company recently launched its latest pair of foldable flagships, alongside the Galaxy Watch5 series with a sapphire-glass display and Galaxy Buds2 Pro 24-bit wireless earphones.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 will be available for purchase in the Philippines beginning September 2 through offline and online channels. In the Philippines, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 starts at P58,990 (around $1,060 converted) for the configuration with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 carries a suggested retail price of P98,990 ($1,779) for its base 12GB/256GB model. The Flip4 is offered in Bora Purple, Pink Gold, Blue, and Graphite colors, and the Fold4 is available in Graygreen, Phantom Black, and Beige colorways.

As you can probably tell, not much has changed in terms of design and form factor this year, although the Galaxy Z Fold4 should be much more comfortable to use in phone mode than its predecessor because of its wider screen-aspect ratio.

Both devices promise to deliver faster performance and longer battery life, too, thanks to Qualcomm’s 6nm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 5G chipset inside. The Flip4 also boasts a larger 3,700mAh battery for better endurance.

However, if you’re after major changes and you own last year’s Flip3 or Fold3, an upgrade may not necessarily be worth it.
