The Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G is coming to the Philippines soon.

No less than the brand’s local arm confirmed the phone’s upcoming launch during the now-concluded Infinix Cup PUBG Mobile Tournament 2022 Grand Finals, which was also attended by Infinix Mobile Philippines ambassador Andrea Brillantes. 

You might recall that the Note 12 5G series comprising the Infinix Note 12 5G and Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G premiered earlier this month, with India getting first dibs on the latest releases. The international pricing for the higher-end Pro variant has been set at $249, or about P13,794 converted, though local pricing should vary from region to region. 

The Infinix Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro 5G are the company’s first 5G-capable models from the series. They shouldn’t be confused with the recently launched vanilla Infinix Note 12, which is priced from P8,999 ($162) in the Philippines. The 4G edition packs a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and a 12nm MediaTek Helio G96 processor paired with Mali-G57 graphics. 

The Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G, meanwhile, is based on the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC with a Mali-G57 GPU as well. Other phones that use the same 5G chipset include the Narzo 50 5G and Realme 9 5G for the Indian market. Notably, the phone runs XOS 10.6 based on Android 12 out of the box, unlike its 4G cousin, which boots an Android 11-based custom overlay. 

The Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G also gets a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and a punch hole for a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Besides the processor and AMOLED panel, the other highlight here is the main camera setup, which boasts a 108-megapixel image sensor and f/1.8 lens. The camera is joined by a pair of 2-megapixel sensors for macro and portrait shots. A 5,000mAh battery that supports 33-watt charging over USB-C keeps the lights on. 

The Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G is available in Force Black and Snowfall White colors.
