Xiaomi‘s POCO has announced its latest smartphones at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, pushing out the global availability and pricing details for the POCO X4 Pro 5G and POCO M4 Pro 4G.
In the Philippines, both the X4 Pro and M4 Pro will go on sale through local e-commerce channels. The POCO X4 Pro 5G is priced at P16,990 (about $331 converted) and P17,990 ($351) for its 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants, respectively. Laser Black, Laser Blue, and POCO Yellow are your color options. The POCO M4 Pro 4G, on the other hand, starts at P12,990 ($253) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and goes up to P13,990 ($273) for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage configuration. It will arrive in Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow colors.
To sweeten the deal, both smartphones are preloaded with the YouTube Premium app, plus a two-month trial for the video-streaming platform’s ad-free tier.

True to the leaks, the POCO X4 Pro 5G seems to be a rebadged Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, except the camera module at the back looks different. The sides are flat as well and home to a physical fingerprint scanner.
Like the latest Redmi, the handset sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. It boots MIUI 13 for POCO, likely based on Android 11, out of the box. The phone also packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 67 watts over the bundled charger and cable.
At the back, you’ll find a 108-megapixel main camera alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a dedicated 2-megapixel sensor for macro shots. The front-facing camera is 16 megapixels, coupled with f/2.4 optics.
The POCO M4 Pro 4G, on the other hand, has plenty in common with the Redmi Note 11S. Both devices have a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports 90Hz refresh. They’re also equipped with a MediaTek Helio G96 4G chipset and a 5,000mAh battery coupled with 33-watt fast charging, allowing the handset to go from zero to full in under an hour. Unlike the Note 11S, though, the M4 Pro 4G features a 64-megapixel primary camera at the back, alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide option and a 2-megapixel macro snapper.
