It looks like we’ll be seeing the Pro versions of Realme’s latest number series in a few weeks’ time.
(Update, February 3: Realme has revealed the global launch date of the Realme 9 Pro series!)
According to one of the more reliable leaksters around, the Realme 9 Pro 5G and Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G will get a world premiere February 15, just a day after Valentine’s. This after the Realme 9i with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 and 33-watt fast charging was launched more than two weeks ago.
We haven’t heard anything from the brand’s Philippine office just yet, so we’re not sure if both or any of the smartphones will be released here — and soon.

In case you missed our story five days ago, the Realme 9 Pro’s full specs have already leaked out. The handset is equipped with a Snapdragon 695 processor paired with at least 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of non-expandable UFS 2.2 storage. It supposedly comes with the following, too: 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10 content; 64-megapixel main, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel macro rear cameras; 16-megapixel selfie shooter; and 5,000mAh battery with 33-watt quick charging.
The Realme 9 Pro Plus, on the other hand, is confirmed to pack a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chip. A Geekbench listing of the device shows a variant with 8GB of RAM and Android 12. It’s expected to feature a maximum of 256GB of storage; a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate; a 50-megapixel primary rear camera assisted by 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors; a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter; and a 4,500mAh battery with 65-watt fast-charging support.
Both models are said to look similar to each other. Price-wise in India, the base Pro unit allegedly starts at ₹17,999 (roughly P12,292 or $239), while the Pro Plus costs around ₹20,000 (P13,659 or $266).
