The OnePlus Nord N10 5G was globally launched alongside the Nord N100 in October last year, so naturally, we’re awaiting the arrival of its predecessor. And it may just happen soon enough.
Leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer, popularly known on Twitter as OnLeaks, has shared renders of what he claims to be the OnePlus Nord N20 5G. It doesn’t look like the old unit; it’s flat, has chamfered edges, looks boxy, doesn’t have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and comes with sensors that are not placed together on a camera island. And you know what? We like it so much better than the 2020 model, so we’re hoping this is really the real deal.
Your first look at the OnePlus Nord N20 5G?
The Nord N20 5G supposedly sports an AMOLED punch-hole screen that measures 6.43 inches. The renders show that at its bottom are a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microphone, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille. At the top is another mic for noise-cancellation purposes. On the right side rests a power key, and on the left, a volume rocker and a SIM card slot.
Hemmerstoffer says the smartphone is powered by the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chip. Its main camera is allegedly 48 megapixels, assisted by two 2-megapixel ones. The selfie shooter, on the other hand, is 16 megapixels. You can choose between gray and purple — but there may be other color variants.
The Nord N10 5G became available in the Philippines as the cheapest 5G phone in the country at launch, so if and when the OnePlus Nord N20 5G does get released locally, the price might be competitive as well.
