This just in: ASUS has revealed the date it’s unveiling its latest ROG Phones in the Philippines.

(Update, December 9: The ASUS ROG Phone 5s series has been launched in the Philippines!)

The ASUS ROG Phone 5s and ASUS ROG Phone 5s Pro are scheduled to launch in the country December 8. In case you forgot, the two gaming smartphones are the second to officially get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chip after the Xiaomi MIX 4. The SoC is paired with up to 18GB of RAM and a maximum of 512GB storage.

Both likewise feature a Super AMOLED screen measuring 6.78 inches — and one that boasts a super-high refresh rate of 144Hz, 360Hz touch sampling, and a durable Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The rest of the specs should be familiar, as they are what you’ll find in the ASUS ROG Phone 5 lineup.

In Taiwan, the regular model is priced starting at NT$29,990 (around P54,657 or $1,079). The Pro version, on the other hand, is retailing at NT$37,990 (P69,237 or $1,367). Let’s wait for the Philippine launch to find out how much they are here and when they will be rolled out to stores.
