Antutu Benchmark’s latest global rankings of the best-performing midrange and flagship Android phones are finally up.
While September 2021’s top 10 list for the premium category was almost unchanged, it was a different story for the cheaper segment. Read on to find out how the smartphones fared last month.
Top 10 midrange Android smartphones
For the second month in a row, the Realme GT Master Edition bested other midrangers to land the No. 1 device in this category. The travel-inspired, Snapdragon 778G-powered GT, which was recently released in the Philippines, went on to become the brand’s best-selling flagship-grade unit in the country.
Out of the September ranking were the Honor 30, Huawei Nova 7 SE, Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G, and Realme X7 5G. Replacing them were the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G, OPPO Reno5 A, Huawei Nova 7i, Realme 8 5G, and Realme Narzo 30.
Top 10 flagship Android smartphones
Nubia’s RedMagic 6 Pro gaming phone remained the best-performing flagship on Antutu’s platform in September with a high benchmark score of 825,145 points.
Last month saw the former sixth-placer Sony Xperia 1 III 5G and former eighth-placer Xiaomi Mi 11 drop out of the list. New entrants were the Redmi K40 Pro and OnePlus 9. Notice that all 10 handsets here use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888. It’s something that we’re not surprised about anymore; the chipmaker has always dominated the premium segment.
