So there is indeed an OPPO Reno6 Z 5G model. And it looks like Thailand is going to get it first.
(Update, July 7: It’s confirmed: The OPPO Reno6 Z 5G and OPPO Reno6 5G are coming to the Philippines! Look.)
OPPO earlier today dropped a teaser for the smartphone, with a link to a microsite revealing its July 21 launch date in our neighboring country.

OPPO Reno6 Z 5G phone launch teaser
The site shows the OPPO Reno6 Z 5G in its full glory, sporting a design language that is similar to that of the other Reno 6 series phones. It seems there will be two available colors at launch, too. Features and specs highlighted include the Bokeh Flare Portrait mode and Portrait Beautification Video modes, a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G processor, and OPPO’s 30-watt VOOC Flash Charge technology.
Those may be the only things revealed at this time, but previous rumors said the Reno6 Z 5G is equipped with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, comes with a 4,310mAh battery, and runs ColorOS 11.1 on top of Android 11. The device’s quad-camera system is reportedly headlined by a 64-megapixel main sensor, assisted by 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel ones for ultra-wide and macro shots. And the selfie shooter supposedly has 32 megapixels.
Now, will it ever be released in the Philippines, considering that none of the mid-priced OPPO Reno 6 series units have arrived locally yet? We have a feeling OPPO Philippines is about to announce something related to the lineup this month, so just sit tight.
