Following its launch in the National Capital Region, DITO Telecommunity revealed today that it has expanded its cellular services to 17 more areas.
The Philippines’ third telecom operator now covers a total of 140 locations in the country. These new areas include the following:
- Padre Garcia, Batangas
- Rosario, Batangas
- San Juan, Batangas
- Amadeo, Cavite
- Indang, Cavite
- Mendez, Cavite
- Balingasag, Misamis Oriental
- Talisayan, Misamis Oriental
- Manticao, Misamis Oriental
- Sugbongcogon, Misamis Oriental
- Medina, Misamis Oriental
- Kinoguitan, Misamis Oriental
- Binuangan, Misamis Oriental
- Balingoan, Misamis Oriental
- Silay City, Negros Occidental
- General Mamerto, Nueva Ecija
- Rizal, Nueva Ecija
To welcome new subscribers and give existing ones more reasons to top up their accounts, DITO also announced that it is extending its P99 (around $2 converted) and P199 ($4) introductory offers until July 14 and July 31, respectively.
The P99 ($2) offer comes with 10GB of data for 30 days, plus unlimited DITO-to-DITO calls, 300 minutes of calls to all networks, and unlimited SMS to all numbers. The P199 ($4) package, on the other hand, bumps up the data allocation to 25GB. You get the same call minutes as well as unlimited SMS to all networks. The validity of both offers is 30 days.
Assuming you already have a DITO SIM card, you can subscribe to the said promos using the DITO app for Android and iOS devices. If you don’t have a SIM card yet, you can buy it from the company’s official store on Lazada or Shopee, its own e-shop, or any of the DITO Experience Stores and partner retailers.
Earlier, DITO revealed it already has more than a million subscribers as of mid-June. That’s within three months of its commercial rollout.
