Huawei isn’t just a phone brand, now more than ever. After launching the Huawei Vision S Series TV in Malaysia, the tech giant’s latest product offering got its local debut in the Philippines, with a choice between 55- and 65-inch screen sizes.
Locally, the smaller, more economical variant has a suggested retail price of P36,999 (about $760 converted), while the 65-inch model goes for P56,999 ($1,171). Both are aggressive prices for smart 4K TVs with a 120Hz refresh rate and tons of connected features, especially if you own a Huawei mobile device with NFC capabilities.

The Vision S Series also allows you to make and answer MeeTime video calls on the TV itself using a magnetic 13-megapixel camera that attaches to the back panel. It’s powered by a quad-core chip with a pair of Cortex-A73 and Cortex-A53 cores operating at 1.5GHz, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of base storage onboard, which is double than what competing TVs at this price level offer.
If you’re still on the fence about the Huawei Vision S Series, you may want to read our review the 55-inch model, which we found to be “an easy recommendation to anyone in the market for a big screen with loads of high-end features, including a nice LCD screen that supports 4K and up to 120 frames per second.” Better yet, check out the embedded video above to find out more about Huawei’s first TV on the local market and its key features.
