Are they teasers? Do Xiaomi Philippines’ latest posts on Facebook and TikTok hint at an impending local launch of the lone 5G member of the global Redmi Note 10 family? Seems like it.
(Update, May 25: Save the date for the 5G-ready Redmi Note 10 phone’s Philippine launch!)
Exhibit A: The post below shows there’s an ongoing Redmi Note 10 5G campaign in the Philippines called #LiveForTheChallenge, which is a collaboration between Xiaomi and PUBG Mobile. The TikTok contest runs until June 3, 2021, and two winners will each receive a Redmi Note 10 5G.
Exhibit B: The smartphone is already listed at Xiaomi’s official regional store on Lazada Philippines, as we at Revü found out earlier. The price seen there is just a placeholder, but do recall that international pricing starts at $199 (roughly P9,524). It looks like all four color variants and versions with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will be offered in the country as well.
Some of the key features of the Redmi Note 10 5G include a MediaTek Dimsensity 700 chip, a 6.5-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a fast-charging 5,000mAh battery pack, and a 48-megapixel triple camera on the back. You can see the rest of the specs below.
