Because more and more 5G sites have gone live in the Philippines, with even new telco player DITO Telecommunity offering only 4G and 5G services, it would be nice if Xiaomi brings the M3 Pro 5G here, too. If the listing we spotted a few days ago is any indication, then the smartphone is likely going to become be released in the country. Cross your fingers.
At the heart of the POCO M3 Pro 5G is a Dimensity 700, MediaTek’s first 5G chip for the masses that is fabbed on a 7nm process and has two Cortex-A76 CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores, and Mali-G57 MC2 graphics — an indication that it’s decent for gaming.
Compare to the Snapdragon 662 and the Snapdragon 720G, the Dimensity 700 outperforms both on AnTuTu sitting close to the 350K!
