Xiaomi Philippines has added a new member to its popular Redmi Note series, which has shipped more than 200 million units globally as of last month.
(Update, March 13: We detail the aggressively priced Redmi Note 10’s hardware chops, including its gaming performance and benchmarks in Redmi Note 10: We test the first SD 678 phone in PH.)
The Redmi Note 10 is now official in the Philippines, over a week after it was launched internationally alongside the Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10S, and Redmi Note 10 5G. It’s the first smartphone in the country to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 — a slightly enhanced version of the Snapdragon 675 that’s found in devices such as the Vivo V15 Pro, Vivo V17 Pro, and Vivo V19 Neo.
The smartphone’s 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB models are priced at P8,490 (around $175) and P9,990 ($206) in the country and will be available for purchase from the brand’s official store on Lazada Philippines when the clock strikes 12 a.m. The one with higher memory configuration will also be sold at Mi authorized shops. On the first sale day, you can buy the Redmi Note 10 4GB/64GB for P500 ($10) less.

This Redmi shares the same 6.43-inch AMOLED punch-hole screen, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 33-watt fast charging, 360-degree light sensor setup, and dual speakers as the Redmi Note 10S. It features a 48-megapixel main camera supported by 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel macro, and 2-megapixel depth-sensing sensors. The selfie cam is 13 megapixels, the battery is rated at 5,000mAh, and the OS version is Android 11, layered with MIUI 12.
Our performance test of the Redmi Note 10 should be up in a few, so do check the site again for that. Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 10 Pro will arrive in the Philippines as well, so there’s that another thing to look forward to.
