OPPO is not done introducing members of its Reno 5 family. The company has announced the OPPO Reno5 F alongside the regular Reno 5 in Kenya.

(Update, March 6: The phone becomes the OPPO A94 in another country! Look.)

The smartphone might launch in other countries as that — Reno5 F — or as a rebrand, perhaps as part of the F series, just like last year’s Reno4 F, which is known as the F17 Pro in India. We’re not sure if it’s ever coming to the Philippines because its predecessor was not released here; only the Reno2 F was sold locally.

No, the OPPO Reno5 F is not up for grabs in Kenya just yet. While its Ksh31,999 (around P14,214 or $292) price tag has been revealed, the handset can only be preordered from today, February 23, till March 21 and will be available at retail stores from March 22.

OPPO hasn’t shared the processor of this Reno, but documents we saw from different shops in Kenya show that the unit is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P95 chip.

The phone also features a 48-megapixel main camera paired with 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel monochrome, and 2-megapixel macro sensors. The manufacturer goes big on the camera system’s AI Color Portrait Video function.

Available in Fantastic Purple and Fluid Black colors, the OPPO Reno5 F likewise comes with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter, a 4,310mAh battery with support for 30-watt VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 fast charging, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 6.4-inch punch-hole AMOLED display, and Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1.
