For Realme, the #65WChargingRevolution has begun in the Philippines, as it brings to the country the Realme 7 Pro (hands-on review here), the fastest-charging smartphone locally.
(Update, September 30: Our review of the Pro model is up! Read Realme 7 Pro review: Need for [fast-charging] speed.)
Yes, the OPPO Find X2 Pro came here first with that feature, but the unit is way out of the masses’ league, seeing that it’s a high-end device. The midrange Realme phone’s role is to help make super-quick charging accessible to more Filipinos.
Launching alongside the Realme 7 Pro are the Realme 7 — which we’ve already shown in this initial test that it’s a capable camera phone — and the Realme Buds Q truly wireless earphones. All three are already available nationwide at the following prices:
- Realme 7 Pro (8GB/128GB): P17,990 (around $371 converted)
- Realme 7 (8GB/128GB): P14,990 ($309)
- Realme Buds Q: P1,490 ($31)
Here’s a special offline offer until October 4: Buy the Pro model at brick-and-mortar stores, and you get an automatic umbrella and a Realme Band worth P2,390 ($49).
One of the most interesting deals we’ve seen is that from retailer TechBox, where every Realme 7 or Realme 7 Pro purchase comes with these freebies: Sony Extra Bass headphones and a 6,800mAh power bank. You can read the mechanics here.
Now, if you want to pay through non-bank financial institution Home Credit, you’d be glad to know that the two smartphones are available via 0% interest installment plans of 6 and 9 months at the following Realme kiosks:
- SM Bicutan Kiosk
- SM Calamba Kiosk
- SM Dasmariñas Kiosk
- SM Fairview Kiosk
- SM Mall of Asia Kiosk
- SM Manila Kiosk
- SM Megamall Kiosk
- SM North EDSA Kiosk
- SM Pampanga Kiosk
- SM Sta. Rosa Kiosk
Using a major credit card? There are 6 and 12 months of installment plans at 0% interest nationwide as well.
For online purchases, take note that ecommerce platform Lazada Philippines is Realme’s partner for the newly announced devices. Here are the offers for those who’d rather buy any — or all — of the items from the comforts of their home:
- Realme 7 Pro: First 200 buyers via the dedicated product page will get free realme Buds Q TWS earphones.
- Realme 7: P500 ($10) off today, September 30
