The OnePlus Nord with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage has been released in the Philippines. But what about the model with a higher memory configuration? When is it coming?
Digital Walker, the exclusive distributor of the brand in the country, has announced that it’s already accepting preorders for the 12GB/256GB OnePlus Nord unit in Grey Onyx color until September 13. The smartphone is priced at P25,990 (around $535).
You can make your reservation on the website of Home Office and at the following Digital Walker branches:
- Eastwood
- Estancia
- Glorietta
- Greenbelt 5
- One Bonifacio
- Robinsons Magnolia
- SM Mall of Asia
- SM North EDSA
- UP Town Center
- Vertis North
Take note that you have to pay the full amount when placing an order, and that’s non-refundable, so better make sure that you’re set on getting the higher-specced OnePlus Nord. You can pay in installment through a credit card if you are getting your unit from Digital Walker, though. These are your options:
- 6 months: P4,831.67 ($99) per month
- 12 months: P2,415.83 ($50) per month
- 24 months: P1,207.92 ($25) per month
Shipping of the phone starts a week or two after the end of the preorder period. If you’re based in Metro Manila, chances are you won’t have to pay any delivery fee, but if you’re in Northern Luzon, Southern Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao, you need to shell out an extra P700 ($14). You can see the complete pre-selling details here.
The 5G-ready OnePlus Nord is the brand’s first midrange model since the OnePlus X. It uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, the same chipset inside Vivo X50 Pro 5G.
Some of its highlights include a quad camera headlined by a Sony IMX586 48-megapixel sensor; two selfie shooters housed in a pill-shaped cutout; a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate; a 4,315mAh battery with support for 30-watt fast charging; and Android 10-based OxygenOS.
