And to celebrate the launch of the local Huawei Store, the company will be offering exclusive deals to customers through its Hot Sale event, which runs from September 30 to October 7. The event will feature select devices, including the recently released Huawei Watch Fit smartwatch, the Huawei MateBook D 15 laptop, and the Huawei MatePad Pro tablet. Many deals, like the one for the Huawei Y8p, have actually gone live early.

What’s more, if you register for a Huawei Store Online account, you’ll gain access to perks, such as free delivery during the sale period, as well as alerts to upcoming flash sales and discount vouchers. Huawei Philippines’ decision to open its own retail platform couldn’t come at a better time. Quarantine restrictions in the country have made it difficult, if not impossible, for many to troop to shopping malls, thus making online shopping attractive to consumers.
A report released earlier this year by Hootsuite and We Are Social shows that 64% of Filipino internet users are spending more time on social media, with 23% seeing increased activity in their online-shopping habits. Most Filipino e-shoppers are said to have middle-range incomes.
