Xiaomi Philippines‘ latest product catalog already confirmed that its flagship phones are coming here.

Now, we finally know the date. The company has announced on Facebook that the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are launching June 12 in the country.

In Europe, they have the following price tags:

• Xiaomi Mi 10
  • 8GB/128GB: €799 (P45,197 or $903)
  • 8GB/256GB: €899 (P50,857 or $1,016)
• Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro
  • 8GB/256GB: €999 (P56,514 or $1,129)

As we always explain here, European pricing for consumer-electronics goods are higher, so the two smartphones will most likely be cheaper in the Philippines.

The Mi 10 series smartphones feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chip bundled with a 5G modem; UFS 3.0 storage; LPDDR5 RAM; a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz; and a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.

But the highlight of the two are its main camera systems. The 108-megapixel camera setup on the back of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro model, in particular, has received a high rating from image-quality benchmark tool DxOMark. It’s currently tied with the OPPO Find X2 Pro and is behind only by at least a point from No. 1 Huawei P40 Pro and No. 2 Honor 30 Pro Plus.

The question now is, will the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, known in China as the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth, be launched in the Philippines, too?
