They may look alike, but the OPPO A92 and OPPO A52 are not the same smartphone.

The A52 went official in China about two weeks ago with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter and a rear quad-camera system headlined by a 12-megapixel sensor. The A92, on the other hand, will have different setups, based on the specifications that appeared on Lazada Indonesia.
We found out that the latter will be unveiled first in Malaysia, with the launch date scheduled for May 4. Because of the leak, however, we now know that the OPPO A92 features a 16-megapixel sensor in front and a 48-megapixel main camera paired with 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel monochrome, and 2-megapixel depth-sensing ones on the back.
We are proudly announce that OPPO A92 will be launched on 4 May 2020 at 11am along with OPPO Enco W31!

OPPO Malaysia announces the launch date of the OPPO A92 (and OPPO Enco W31)
The rest are the same: a 6.5-inch punch-hole screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor matched with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18-watt fast charging, and ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10.
There are two prices listed in Indonesia: Rp3,999,999 (around P14,123) and Rp 4,499,000 (P15,885). It’s possible that one is just a placeholder. Or it could be that there’s a version with 6GB of RAM, just as the country seems to have an Aurora Purple color variant instead of just Twilight Black and Shining White. Malaysia, on the other hand, looks like it’s getting only the original memory configuration and the latter two colors.
Will OPPO Philippines be bringing the OPPO A92 here? If yes, maybe not so soon, as it has just launched the OPPO Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro locally.
