Don’t look now, but the most affordable member of the Mi Note 10 series could be launching soon.
After getting a certification from the Federal Communications Commission, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is discovered to have been certified by Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission. This suggests the phone could be introduced as early as April.
To jog your memory, the higher-specced Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro debuted worldwide in November and in the Philippines in December, with P25,990 (around $515) and P29,990 ($584) price tags, respectively.
What do we know about the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite so far? While the NBTC’s database doesn’t reveal much, the one in the FCC shows the smartphone’s key specs.
Apparently, the Mi Note 10 Lite has not inherited the 108-megapixel main sensor of its siblings; it gets a 64-megapixel primary one instead. The said sensor is paired with 8-megapixel, 5-megapixel, and 2-megapixel cameras. One could be for ultra-wide shots, and the other two could be for macro and depth sensing.

The device is also said to feature a 6.47-inch screen and a big, 5,260mAh battery that supports 30-watt fast charging. It’s reportedly running Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. Word is the processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730.
Will the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite be released in the Philippines? Yes, it’s highly likely, but probably not soon because of the COVID-19-related lockdown imposed by the government. Take note that the quarantine pushed Xiaomi Philippines to postpone unveiling of the Redmi Note 9S in the country almost three weeks ago. The company still has not announced a new launch date for it yet.
