After recently announcing the Redmi Note 9S for global markets, Xiaomi has launched the international variants of the Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and Mi Note 10 Lite.

As expected, all three smartphones are priced aggressively, with retail availability scheduled for mid-May. They also have four cameras on the back and a single front-facer for selfies.

Redmi Note 9
The Redmi Note 9, which is similar to the Redmi 10X that will be launched in China, is the world’s first global handset equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. It includes two performance Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores for less power-hungry tasks.

Xiaomi says the new Helio G85 managed 205,946 points in the Antutu benchmark app. Quite impressive considering the price point.
To deliver a two-day battery life, the Note 9 also has a 5,020mAh battery that supports 18-watt fast charging using the bundled charger. Xiaomi quotes 11 hours of gaming, 17 hours of video playback, and 7 hours of video recording on a single charge.

Redmi Note 9 at a glance
On the back, the phone sports a quad-lens setup headlined by a 48-megapixel main camera. The secondary cameras include dedicated portrait and macro sensors, as well as an 8-megapixel sensor for ultra-wide-angle shots.
Other features of the Redmi Note 9 include a 13-megapixel selfie camera, a headphone jack, an IR blaster, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and anti-splash coating on its body.

Redmi Note 9 Pro
The Redmi Note 9 Pro is almost identical to the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Xiaomi announced in India, except the front-facing camera of the latter is 32 megapixels.
Like the Max, it has a quad-camera module with a 64-megapixel sensor, as well as dedicated lenses for ultra-wide, portrait, and macro photography.

Xiaomi says the Redmi Note 9 Pro is all about capturing excellent pictures and videos, so it’s no surprise that the software package is stacked with cinematic and pro features, such as the ability to shoot RAW images and Log mode for video editing after the fact. The Redmi Note 9 Pro is powered by an 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip that, combined with Adreno 618 graphics, delivers up to 40% better CPU performance versus the previous generation.
It’s also powered by a 5,020mAh battery — only this time, the fast charging goes up to 30 watts using the 33-watt power brick included in the box.

Finally, there’s the Mi Note 10 Lite, which packs many of the features found in the standard Xiaomi Mi Note 10, including a fingerprint-sensing 3D curved screen with Gorilla Glass 5 and customizable always-on display designs.

The Note 10 Lite uses a 5,260mAh battery as well, and provides impressive usage times — 23 days on standby, 23 hours of video playback, and 14 hours of gaming. The sizable cell supports 30-watt fast charging out of the box. According to Xiaomi, getting from zero to full should take just a little over 60 minutes.

Available colors for the cheapest member of the Mi Note 10 series
The main camera steps down from 108 megapixels to a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, but can shoot 4K video, slo-mo up to 960 fps, and comes with a feature called Vlog mode for content creators. Similar to other devices in the Note 9 series, it gets dedicated cameras for ultra wide, portrait, and macro.
