OPPO recently launched the OPPO A92s in China. Now, it is the OPPO Find X2 Lite‘s turn in the news cycle, after several weeks in the rumor mill.
As expected, the new Find X2 Lite includes some of the features of the flagship OPPO Find X2 Pro, such as an OLED screen with an embedded fingerprint reader and a processor that supports 5G connectivity for super-fast data where available.
Unlike the company’s top-shelf smartphone, however, the OPPO Find X2 Lite carries a more affordable European price tag of €499 (around P27,575 or $543). The phone is currently listed on OPPO’s Portuguese website.
Do note that prices in Europe tend to be higher than in other countries because of taxes and other fees. OPPO has priced the Find X2 Pro at P62,990 ($1,240) in the Philippines.
Naturally, the much lighter pricing also means much lighter specs, at least compared with the Pro edition.
Design-wise, the OPPO Find X2 Lite looks a lot like the MediaTek Helio P90-based Reno 3, which will officially debut in the Philippines soon.
In front, the device sports an OLED display with FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a run-of-the-mill 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a waterdrop notch for the 32-megapixel, f/2.0 selfie camera. The panel is layered with Corning Gorilla 5 for added protection.
The rear-facing setup has four camera sensors, including a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor for ultra wide, plus a pair of 2-megapixel monochrome and portrait sensors. It also comes with a dedicated night mode for low-light shooting.

The OPPO Find X2 Lite has a 5G-capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset inside, which includes a Smart 5G feature to seamlessly switch between 4G and 5G networks depending on the strength of the connection and available bandwidth.
OPPO says this will increase the phone’s battery life by up to 30%, as 5G consumes more power than 4G and older, slower standards.
As for the battery, the Find X2 Lite runs on a 4,025mAh battery that is compatible with OPPO’s latest VOOC 4.0 fast-charging standard. This is said to bring the battery to 50% capacity after 20 minutes plugged in. The phone will also arrive with ColorOS 7 based on Android 10.
