OPPO is on a roll. While the COVID-19-related lockdown in the Philippines may seem to have stalled the Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro‘s launch in the country, elsewhere, it’s a different story. It’s been announcing phones left and right — the latest of which is the OPPO A52.

The handset is only available in China for now, where it’s priced at ¥1,599 (around P11,483 or $226). We’re not sure yet how soon or if it will be offered in other markets.
The OPPO A52 counts a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18-watt fast charging; a 6.5-inch punch-hole display with a 90.5% screen-to-body ratio; and a quad camera as some of its highlights.

The L-shaped rear camera system is composed of 12-megapixel main, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel macro, and 2-megapixel depth-sensing sensors. In front is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
The smartphone also features dual speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and Android 10 layered with ColorOS 7. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chip is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Does OPPO still have something for us this April? If yes, what will it release next? More A series models perhaps? Let’s see.
