More and more smartphones have adopted the dual-punch-hole selfie-camera design. There’s the Realme X50, the Xiaomi Redmi K30, and the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus.
It looks like another one will join the club — and one that has the first 44-megapixel dual-punch-hole front camera in the world at that.
YouTuber Arun Maini, better known as Mrwhosetheboss, has teased a picture of a yet-to-be-launched phone that has that feature. He ended his post with this question: “Can anyone guess from which company?”

The famous UK-based YouTuber’s tweet earlier. Could this be the OPPO Find X2, or could the unit be some other model?
Goodness, that user interface is familiar to us. Why? Because we just published a review of the Android 10-based skin. Have you read our article, OPPO ColorOS 7 initial review: One of Android’s best UIs?
Yup, that partly hidden handset in the photo screams “OPPO.” Unless Realme UI also has that wallpaper. Take a look at a screenshot of the UI of our OPPO Reno 2, which has had ColorOS 7 for weeks now, thanks to OPPO China.
There are devices that already have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is expected to overtake them all in terms of megapixel count with a 40-megapixel selfie shooter. It looks like the said Samsung smartphone will hold the crown briefly.
