Ever since confirming that Lenovo smartphones are making a comeback in the Philippines, the company has since posted three more teasers on Facebook.
(February 3: Here’s an update: Lenovo K10 Note coming to the Philippines soon.)
First, Lenovo published a picture of a Z6 Pro unit to wish everyone a happy 2020.
The Lenovo Z6 Pro is the manufacturer’s current flagship, sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, as much 512GB of storage, a 6:39-inch screen, a quad-camera setup headlined by a 48-megapixel shooter, time-of-flight and phase-detection auto-focus sensors, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It launched with a starting price of ¥2,899 (around P21,109 or $416) in China.
Second, the company posted a photo of the Lenovo Z6 and captioned it, “It’s coming.” This is another affordable phone, with a starting launch price of only ¥1,899 (P13,836 or $273). It’s powered by a Snapdragon 730 paired with as much as 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The chip is also used by the likes of the OPPO Reno 2 and Xiaomi’s Redmi K30 4G model.
Third is its most recent, coincidentally around the time it was announced that former Lenovo Mobile China head Chang Cheng has joined Xiaomi. The company shared an image of an unknown handset model with the logo of its gaming-focused line, Legion, as the wallpaper. This hints that Lenovo could indeed be announcing a Legion-branded gaming phone soon.
Interesting times, yes? We can’t wait for when Lenovo Philippines finally reveals what it has in store for us here in the country.
