Some authorized stores may have offered the Huawei Y9s as early as last week, but we spotted the smartphone on Huawei Philippines‘ official Lazada shop only today, January 9.

Just as we reported, the Y9s is priced at P13,990 (around $276). And if you buy it from LazMall, you get the following freebies, worth a total of P999 ($20): bottle, data cable, canvas shopping bag, and a 1-day Anytime Fitness pass. There’s a free P100 ($2) voucher and free shipping as well.

Both Midnight Black and Breathing Crystal color variants of the 6GB/128GB Huawei Y9s model are listed on the online shop. However, it’s still logged as “out of stock.”

We asked when the phone will be sold, but customer service can’t say the exact availability just yet. Word is the official date to watch is January 18. Let’s see.

In case you didn’t know, the Huawei Y9s is like the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 and P30 Pro and Honor 9X rolled into one. The handset comes with a pop-up front camera, three rear shooters headlined by a 48-megapixel cam, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and a color like the P30 Pro’s.
