Luckily, we finally got our review unit of the Pro model. It’s the Space Silver variant, but we had actually thought it was purple — or a subtle version of the Cosmic Purple version. And we’re loving it.
That time we got our Huawei Mate 30 Pro review unit
In case you didn’t know, there are four other color variants of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. There’s the classic Black, and there’s the royal-looking Emerald Green. If you want leather, you can choose from the Vegan Leather Forest Green and Vegan Leather Orange models.

Given that on paper, the smartphone is a beast when it comes to photography and videography, we’ve taken the phone to different spots in Munich.

Give us another day to shoot more pictures and videos — not the least of which are scenes from the opening of Oktoberfest (riiiigggghhhht?) — and we promise to share with you the results of our testing.
For now, we leave you with photos of our Mate 30 Pro unboxing. However, take note that the retail box comes with a clear case, which is not in this package for reviewers.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro prices
The regular Huawei Mate 30 version will retail at €799 (around P45,809 or $880), and the more stacked Pro model will be available for the following prices:
- 8GB/256GB, 4G: €1,099 (around P63,368 or $1,215)
- 8GB/256GB, 5G: €1,199 (P69,134 or $1,326)
- 12GB/512GB, Porsche Design Huawei Mate 30 RS: €2,095 (P120,798 or $2,316)
That’s the European pricing, which tends to be higher, so if you’re based in countries like the Philippines, expect the smartphones to be more budget-friendly.
