The Vivo V15 Pro debuted not long ago — and with it, a motorized selfie camera that pops up from inside the phone. Its feature set also includes a rather sizable OLED with an embedded fingerprint scanner, a 48-megapixel main camera, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset.

Now, a more affordable version of the V15 Pro has been announced in Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia. Even better, the Vivo V15 retains the pop-up front camera of the Pro model, and its pixel count is still 32 megapixels.

But instead of a Snapdragon processor, Vivo has opted for the more economical MediaTek Helio P70 and paired it with 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The V15 also skips the 48-megapixel camera of the V15 Pro and settles for a regular 12-megapixel shooter. The camera is aided by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide option and a 5-megapixel depth sensor for bokeh.

The new model also grows in size, sporting an almost-bezel-less, entirely notch-less 6.53-inch LCD, not OLED, display, while the battery has a 4,000mAh capacity. Unfortunately, the V15 still uses a microUSB port for charging rather than Type-C, though fast charging is supported.

Vivo V15 price

In Thailand, the Vivo V15 is priced at ฿10,999, which translates to roughly P17,883 or $345. It’s available in Topaz Blue and Glamour Red gradient colors.

While it remains to be seen how much the phone will cost in other markets, including the Philippines, it bears noting that last year’s V11 originally launched with a P19,999 ($383) price tag here. Its successor, the V15, could cost around the same figure. That would make it one of the most affordable, if not the most affordable, all-screen phones on the market.
