Selfies have become an integral part of modern culture. Not an event goes by without us taking a selfie as a keepsake of a momentous occasion.
With selfies having such an important role in making both ordinary and extraordinary moments more memorable, the need for a reliable smartphone with a good selfie camera has become more evident than ever before. This is where the latest Vivo V11 comes in, because it allows users to snap selfies worth keeping and remembering.

When choosing a smartphone, users should consider the number of pixels of the front camera. The Vivo V11 is equipped with a 25-megapixel front-facing sensor. Cameras with a higher megapixel count yield sharper results and more defined colors, even in low-light conditions. With more megapixels, the picture quality tends to be better overall.
The selfie camera of the Vivo V11 is also paired with an f/2.0 aperture lens, which lets enough light to reach the sensor, thus making the image brighter and even more pleasant to look at.
Additionally, the V11’s front camera leverages on artificial intelligence or AI to produce naturally beautiful results. Selfies will look nicer, thanks to Vivo’s new AI Face Shaping technology, which uses face-modeling algorithms to enhance facial features in real time while clicking a picture.

The V11 also comes with an improved AI Selfie Lighting feature that includes more lighting effects that simulate how light is supposed to interact with the user’s face. Besides options such as Natural Light, Studio Light, Stereo Light, and Monochrome Background, there are two additional lighting effects — Loop Light and Rainbow Light. These add a couple more artificial-lighting options when creativity takes hold.
The Vivo V11 is still equipped with AI Face Beauty and AR stickers — features customers look forward to seeing in Vivo smartphones. This time, AI Face Beauty in the V11 promises smoother, clearer, and more natural-looking skin tones. It will also make the face appear slimmer and hide double chins for a youthful appearance. AR stickers, on the other hand, give users the opportunity to showcase their fun and quirky personalities by overlaying selfies with cartoony filters.
Vivo has established that it knows more than a thing or two when it comes to developing ideal selfie cameras. With the Vivo V5 Plus, it was the first smartphone brand to introduce dual front-facing cameras to the Philippine market. The Vivo V7 and V7+ both shipped with 24-megapixel front sensors, which were among the country’s sharpest a year ago.
These developments underscore the pivotal role Vivo has played in shaping how people take and share selfies for social media. The Vivo V11 is available in the Philippines in Starry Night and Nebula gradient finishes for P19,999 (roughly $374).
