ASUS joined the gaming-phone bandwagon earlier this year, when it announced the ASUS ROG (which stands for Republic of Gamers) Phone during its keynote at Computex 2018 in June. But back then, the company did not reveal the price of the device, nor did it mention how much exactly customers will pay for the bundle that includes the ROG Phone and its gaming accessories.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wonder any longer. At a press event held in China today, ASUS confirmed official pricing details for the long-awaited gaming phone.

The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage runs you ¥5,999 (approximately P47,233 or $873), while bumping up the memory to 512GB will set you back ¥7,999 (P62,979 or $1,164). There’s also the E-Sports Limited Edition variant, which ships with four dedicated accessories — TwinView Dock, Gamevice controller, AeroActive Cooler, and Mobile Desktop Dock — for ¥12,999 (P102,347 or $1,892).

The ASUS ROG Phone E-Sports Limited Edition will ship with these four dedicated accessories.

On the outside, of course, the ASUS ROG Phone features aggressive styling and sparks a gaming vibe with its exterior dressed up in fancy RGB lighting. It also offers better ergonomics, which is crucial to gaming phones that tend to be held in the hand longer than most other devices.

Under the hood, the ROG Phone uses an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, as well as the industry’s first 3D-vapor-chamber cooling system for high peak performance. The notch-less OLED screen measures 6 inches and has an impressive 90Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, while the battery, rated at 4,000mAh, comes with 30-watt fast charging.
