Just like the new Xiaomi phone, the Note 10 is expected to feature a big screen with a high-capacity battery to go along with it.

The display is said to span 6.9 inches diagonally, similar to the one on the Xiaomi Mi Max 3. Alleged pictures of the Honor Note 10 placed side by side with a Nintendo Switch will give you an idea of its size.

If they are indeed for real, then we should be expecting a device that’s smaller than the Switch but has a larger screen because of the slim bezels. For some perspective, take note that Nintendo’s portable gaming console has dimensions of 238.7 x 101.6 x 14mm.

While the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 packs a 5,500mAh battery, the Honor Note 10 is rumored to get a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for fast charging.

Other specs that have been revealed come courtesy of benchmark site Geekbench. The listing shows that the Huawei sub-brand’s Note 10 is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 970 chip, the same processor that’s used on Huawei devices like the P20, P20 Pro, Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Nova 3. It’s supposed to feature 6GB of RAM and EMUI skinned on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.

The Honor Note 10 should feature GPU Turbo as well. It’s a technology that aims to improve graphics performance by 60 percent and power efficiency by 30 percent. Besides that, the company’s president, Zhao Ming — also known as George Zhao — earlier revealed that the device will debut with another innovative feature, speculated to be a function that will optimize the gaming experience through artificial intelligence.

AI, in case you didn’t know, is high on Huawei’s agenda. The Chinese tech giant stressed that to us during the Huawei media-familiarization trip to China end-June. And you can see it now, more than ever, with the launch of the Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i.

And just as Huawei has partnered with Porsche Design for some of its high-end smartphones, Honor has reportedly teamed up with another premium car brand, Rolls-Royce, for a special edition of the Honor Note 10 Rolls Royce Edition. The rumored price tag? ¥9,998 (around 78,870 or P$1,475).
