The Vivo X21, one of the few smartphones out there with an under-display fingerprint sensor, will be launched in the Philippines this June. This, according to an email sent to us by a company representative just now. While no date was set, Vivo did send us a retail unit for testing weeks ago.
Local price and availability details for the Vivo X21 are not available at press time. Hopefully, the phone will debut at retail soon and at a reasonable price.

We’ll have boots on the ground for the phone’s unveiling here. In the meantime, we’re sharing with you some sample photos we took using the rear- and front-facing cameras of the X21. The main camera system, as you might have heard, features a 12-megapixel sensor supported by a 5-megapixel one for snapping portrait-style photos with some depth of field. Are they any good?
We can’t give a definitive answer yet, so we’ll let the results do the talking for now. Here are some of the pictures we’ve taken. More should be up in our review.
