If you’ve been eagerly waiting to purchase a discounted top-end smartphone running Android, now might be your best chance to snag the Nokia 8 at the lowest price we’ve ever seen.

Until April 9, you can order HMD Global’s first Nokia-branded flagship online from Argomall at a heavily reduced sale price of P21,990 (around $423), from a high of P29,990 ($575) when the phone debuted in the Philippines late in September last year. Look around, and you won’t find a cheaper Snapdragon 835-based smartphone at this point, at least domestically.

As you might recall, Argomall is one of HMD Global’s authorized retailers in the country. That means a full year of warranty coverage from the manufacturer will be included with all orders. It’s also worth mentioning that Argomall accepts cash on delivery, credit card, and online banking as a payment option for purchases on the site. It offers nationwide shipping, too.

As for the phone itself, the Nokia 8 has a 5.3-inch LCD display, with a tack-sharp resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. It sees a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor at the helm. Paired with the chip are 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, which can be upgraded up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The dual-camera setup around the back comprises of two 13-megapixel sensors with Carl Zeiss optics for improved performance, while the selfie camera is backed by a 13-megapixel sensor. OZO audio, which is predominantly featured on 360-degree VR cameras, promises a rich audio experience.

Elsewhere, the operating of system of choice is Android Nougat out of the box. However, HMD Global has started rolling out the Android Oreo update for the handset as early as February. And the upgrade won’t be the last, fortunately.

HMD recently confirmed that most existing Nokia devices, including the Nokia 8, will be part of the Android One Program. This guarantees stock, clean Android software, as well as regular OS updates over the next two years and security updates for the next three.
