The Mi 6X, believed to be known globally as the Xiaomi Mi A2, has appeared on China’s TENAA certification website a week ago. Now, more details of the smartphone have emerged.
Indian technology site BestUnderR was able to obtain this alleged copy of the handset’s specifications sheet. It confirms some of the specs that were seen earlier.
Based on the leak, the Xiaomi Mi 6X’s screen will get that tall, 18:9 treatment this time. So goodbye to the ol’ 16:9 aspect ratio. It measures 5.99 inches diagonally and features a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels and is virtually identical to the display found in the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus and Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Powering the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor that’s paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in memory. On the rear panel is a dual-camera setup composed of 20- and 8-megapixel sensors with f/2.0 and f/1.8 lens, respectively. A 20-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 should take care of your selfies.

The unit is said to be 165mm tall and 7.3mm thick — dimensions that include the 2,910mAh battery, of course.
The Xiaomi Mi 6X is shipping with an Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI version. However, the Xiaomi Mi A2 that will arrive in international markets, including the Philippines perhaps, is expected to have vanilla Android out of the box.
