The first phone to come out of the deal is the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1. According to numerous sources, including Evan Blass, the device will carry the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor mated to 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The Snapdragon 636 is the platform used by the ASUS ZenFone 5, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (in India), and Meizu E3, to name but three.
Other leaked specs include a 6-inch, 18:9 display; dual rear cameras; a 16-megapixel selfie camera; up to 64GB of expandable storage; and a massive 5,000mAh battery to power the assembly for days.

Word has it that the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 will be getting ‘pure’ Android Oreo, as opposed to ASUS’ own Android skin. This leads some to believe this is the first Android One effort from the manufacturer.
Price-wise, it’s unlikely that the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 will be priced higher than the ZenFone 5 given the premium build materials and notch display of the latter. The official details will come through on Monday, so the wait shouldn’t be unbearable.
