The leaks just keep coming. As noted in previous reporting, the Vivo V9 is slated for a March 27 reveal in India, but the latest word is that the upcoming smartphone will debut first in Thailand, just several days earlier, on March 22.

There’s more: The Vivo V9 has allegedly been spotted in live images ahead of its launch this month. Several photos of the device itself, along with the retail box, have been shared online. What’s more, another substantial round of leaks supposedly detail the V9’s key specifications and pricing information, which appeared on an Indonesian ecommerce site. According to the listing, the V9 will be priced at IDR 4,999,000, or roughly P18,960 or $364.

One  more for good measure 😉

It’s been shown that the Vivo V9 will get a 24-megapixel camera for selfies and face unlocking, similar to last year’s model. The back-facing cameras remain in doubt, but may come in at 12 and 8 megapixels. Vivo recently announced a new AI-powered, “Super HDR” mode to produce cleaner, brighter pictures, although it didn’t say if the V9 is going to introduce the said feature.

As for the rest of the specs, the V7 sequel is tipped to have a notched AMOLED display measuring 6 inches across and running at full HD. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset could be at the helm, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. It will also supposedly arrive with a fast-charging 3,250mAh battery and Vivo’s own Funtouch OS 4.0 interface on top of Android 8.0 Oreo.
