Vivo is scheduled to roll out the red carpet for the Vivo V9 in India on March 27.

The real-world images confirm the details we’ve seen in Vivo’s promo materials — the Apple iPhone X-like notch and vertically aligned rear cameras, to name but two. They also shed light on some new information, including the presence of a headphone jack at the bottom edge of the device, next to a standard microUSB charging port.

The Vivo V9 could also get separate slots for two SIM cards and an SD card. Moving to the front, the phone might have a 24-megapixel camera housed in the notch, where the earpiece speaker and proximity sensor share a limited space.

In terms of internal specifications, it’s still unclear just what the V9 will offer, but it’s only fair to expect that this upgrade packs a faster processor to go with a design more fitting of 2018.
We’re told that the Vivo V9 will launch in the Philippines sometime in April 2018, so the waiting won’t be so bad.
