It’s time to put OPPO F7 rumors to rest. The Apple iPhone X-inspired device has gone official in India, weeks before its launch in the Philippines.

Front and center is a 6.23-inch screen with a full-HD resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. There’s a notch at the top of the OPPO F7’s display to house a 25-megapixel selfie camera with Sony IMX 576 sensor. It’s equipped with features such as AI Beauty Technology 2.0 and Sensor HDR. There’s Vivid mode, AR stickers… name it.

The lone, 16-megapixel rear camera has AI Scene Recognition, meaning it can supposedly identify 16 different scenes and objects. These are Baby, Dog, Portrait, Food, Sunset, Firework, Stage Light, Grass, Indoor, Sky, Night, Beach, Snow, Scenery, Text, and Cat.
The OPPO F7 has MediaTek’s Helio P60 octa-core processor underneath the hood. One model pairs the chip with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and it’s priced at ₹21,990 (roughly P17,687 or $339). The other matches it with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in memory. That variant goes for ₹26,990 (P21,708 or $416).
We wonder if these versions of the JoshLia (Filipino teen celebrities Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto)-endorsed smartphone would sell in the Philippines for P15,990 ($326) and P21,990 ($422), respectively — same prices as the OPPO F5 4GB and 6GB versions at launch. We are crossing our fingers.
