While not as accessible as its predecessors, the OnePlus 5T is one of the most well-received Android flagships around. And if you’re thinking of getting one but haven’t taken out your wallet yet, you might want to hold off on making a purchase offline in the Philippines.
We at Revü just discovered this: Local preorders for the One Plus 5T Star Wars Edition have gone live on Argomall. Recall that the flagship was a tie-in for the movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which hit theaters last December.
It’s a phone we thought we’d never see in the archipelago due to its limited availability. At the time of its unveiling, it was slated for release in only a handful of European countries and India, while the rest of the world was snubbed.
This being a Star Wars-themed handset, it arrives in a special packaging and includes a Kylo Ren case you won’t get anywhere else. Exclusive themes and wallpapers serve as icing on the cake.

Locally, it will be priced at P31,990, or approximately $615, and is said to be “coming soon this March” — a fair price considering it pairs 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. The regular OnePlus 5T offering the same memory configuration will set you back P30,990 ($596) in the Philippines. The base model, meanwhile, with 6GB of RAM and half the space for your apps and files goes for P26,990 ($519).

For fans of the franchise, the One Plus 5T Star Wars Edition is a collector’s item, but it also won’t disappoint at all as a daily driver. It’s stuffed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor — still one of the fastest in the business — and two high-resolution, back-facing cameras. On the front, you’ll find a nice OLED panel on an 18:9 spread, surrounded by slim bezels.
So yeah, it’s basically a reskinned version of the OnePlus 5T that’s already out there. But that’s okay — the 5T is one heck of a phone, and Star Wars is, well, Star Wars.
