Less than a week after the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S’ alleged benchmark score leaked out, we’re getting a good look at the smartphone’s design — assuming the new leak is legitimate, of course. And boy, does it look droolworthy.

What seems like an official Mi MIX 2S banner popped up on Weibo, revealing a device that’s sexier than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. The top and bottom bezels are slimmer, and the selfie camera has been relocated from the bottom right side of the screen to the upper right part of the nearly borderless display. This without adding an obtrusive notch up front.
There’s another material that surfaced on the Chinese microblogging service, this time supposedly revealing what we can expect from the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S.
This one seems to confirm the authenticity of the first image, as the Mi MIX 2S displayed here shows the same design as the one in the promo banner. We’re hoping this is legit because the listed features are stuff you can expect from a beast of a smartphone.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S is supposed to be the first handset powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor clocked at 2.8GHz. (Although we are expecting other flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ to have it, too.) It reportedly boasts 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a 12-megapixel optical-zoom dual camera. Plus, it might just join the Vivo X20 Plus UD as a device with an under-display fingerprint sensor.

Word has it that the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will be launched this month at MWC [Mobile World Congress] 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. So the suspense should be over soon enough. Excited?
