Think Samsung is done releasing different variants of the Galaxy S8? Well, think again.
The Korean tech giant has unwrapped a limited edition of the 6.2-inch flagship phone it introduced in March 2017. Called the SMARTgirl Limited Edition Samsung Galaxy S8+, the handset comes in a pink paint job and is bundled with a case swathed in Swarovski crystals.
This comes a day after a Burgundy Red model of the 5.8-inch Galaxy S8 was made available in South Korea — a move that has brought the total number of S8 color variants to seven. In case you didn’t know, there’s Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Arctic Silver, Orchid Gray, Rose Pink, and Coral Blue.

But while the outside of the SMARTgirl Limited Edition Samsung Galaxy S8+ has been pimped up, its internals remain the same as those of the original S8+.

Only 7,000 units of this customized phone are up for grabs. Unfortunately, it is just going to be offered in Spain — for now. But who knows? Samsung might sell the device in other markets, too.
The SMARTgirl Limited Edition Samsung Galaxy S8+ is going to be available starting December 1 for €949, or roughly P56,526 or $1,125. Here in the Philippines, the regular S8+ is priced at P45,990 or about $914.
