Buying season is just around the corner, and Lenovo has a pair of smartphones coming to the Philippines that might interest you. We’re talking about the recently launched Lenovo K8 Plus and K8 Note.
Both will be available locally during Lazada’s Online Revolution sale event — happening from November 9 till December 12 — with steep discounts. The Lenovo K8 Plus will retail for just P7,999 (around $156) throughout that period; the Lenovo K8 Note, for P8,999 ($175).
The regular prices are P11,999 ($233) and P13,999 ($272) for the K8 Plus and K8 Note, respectively. Importantly, the two are Lazada exclusives, meaning you won’t be able to purchase them anywhere else.
As for the hardware, the Lenovo K8 Plus and K8 Note feature identical metal designs packing a 4,000mAh battery, as well as a dual-camera system on the back that is vertically oriented for portrait photography.

The Note’s full-resolution display is slightly larger, though, measuring 5.5 inches. Meanwhile, the 5.2-inch Plus sits in the hand comfortably, like the Samsung Galaxy S8, Xiaomi Mi 6, and Apple iPhone X, just to name three.
Powered by a deca-core processor — a MediaTek Helio X23, to be specific — the Lenovo K8 Note will also perform better across the board. However, the Lenovo K8 Plus, thanks to its smaller screen and more efficient processor in the Helio P25, won’t spend as much time near a power outlet.

Interestingly, the K8 phones are among the first in Lenovo’s lineup to ship with stock Android (Nougat at launch) and will receive Android 8.0 Oreo sometime in the future.
