A screenshot of the alleged OPPO Mix has surfaced on the Geekbench website, raising speculation that the Chinese OEM could be working on a flagship smartphone. The OPPO Find 9, finally?
The OPPO Mix could have an edge-to-edge, 18:9 display, too, which is a no-brainer for any upcoming entry in the high-end segment. Heck, even the supposedly mid-tier OPPO F5 is tipped to feature a borderless front.

Details are thin on the exact specifications, though the benchmark test result reveals an impressive score of 1,907 points for single-core performance and 6,596 points for multi-core operation, all courtesy of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip.
Those numbers seem authentic enough and are consistent with other Snapdragon 835-based smartphones we’ve tested. Moreover, the result hints at 6GB of RAM under the hood, lining the OPPO Mix up with the fastest Android has to offer.

We also wouldn’t be surprised if the groundbreaking technologies OPPO has been working on — the camera with 5x optical zoom and the super-fast Super VOOC charging technology, to name but two — debut on the Mix.
Super VOOC tech can charge an OPPO phone with 2,500mAh battery in 15 minutes
But even if that’s not the case, OPPO coming out with a true flagship before the year ends marks a shift in how the company approaches the iPhone market, competing as opposed to losing out by default.
