We saw the telco’s Facebook post in our news feed earlier, so we decided to see if the deals were any good. And we’re happy to find out that they are. Here are just some offers that you may be interested in.
Apple iPhone 6 for as low as P10,500 ($210)
When the iPhone 6 was launched in the Philippines in November 2014, the cheapest variant went for P36,990 ($740). Smart is now dangling it for a measly P10,500. For P2,000 ($40) more, you can already get four times the storage of the 16GB iPhone 6. And if you want the 128GB model, you’ll be glad to know that it’s priced at just P14,500 ($290).
Take note that this is not available on the local online Apple Store anymore.

Apple iPhone 6s for as low as P20,500 ($410)
Priced from P36,190 ($724) when it was announced in the country in November 2015, the 16GB variant of the iPhone 6s is down to P20,500 till the end of February. You may also buy the 64GB model for only P23,500 ($470) or the 128GB version for P26,500 ($530).
We couldn’t find the base and 64GB models on the Philippine online Apple Store and in authorized iPhone resellers anymore; only the 32GB and 128GB iPhones are being offered at P31,990 ($640) and P37,990 ($760), respectively. So we’re thinking that the company may already have quietly dropped the 12GB and 64GB versions.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge for as low as P17,500 ($350)
The S6 Edge was not wallet-friendly when it was released in the Philippines on April 18, 2015. The 32GB variant cost P41,990 ($841), and the 64GB model went for P47,990 ($961).
For February, Smart is selling the two versions for only P17,500 and P18,500 ($371). The only difference between the two smartphones is a mere P1,000 ($20), so it’s smarter to get the one with the higher storage.
