The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 will reportedly be announced in February of next year, ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, so it’s not surprising to see cases of the said flagship smartphone leaked into the wild before its official unveiling.
Of course, it’s still too early to tell if the cases are the real deal, but if they are authentic then they should give us an idea of what the Galaxy S7 will look like and how big or small it is compared to its predecessor. Judging from the photos, it looks like Samsung’s next top-tier Galaxy phone will share the same design and ports as the 2015 model.
On top of that, one of the cases indicates a bigger “Plus” model similar to this year’s release. Recall that the Galaxy S6 edge+ was launched this August, just a few months after the Galaxy S6 reveal. The timing of the leaks lends some credit to the possibility of seeing at least two Galaxy flagships announced alongside one another.

The Galaxy S7 is rumored to come in 5.2- and 5.7-inch variants, with the latter incorporating a curved-edge screen. Both phones will likely be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 processor, though reports claim a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 variant is also in the works.
